The ‘Drôme des Collines’ is an agricultural region growing a wide range of top
quality produce: fruit and fruit juices (apricots, peaches, apples, kiwis, soft fruits),
fattened ducks and geese and associated products (confits, etc.), cheese, poultry, lamb,
beef, pork, etc.
Not forgetting the Côtes du Rhône wine-growing area. Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage, Saint Peray
and St Joseph are the wines produced closest to the guesthouse.
Be sure to sample some of Myriam’s cooking. She uses lots of local produce and prepares a
number of local specialities which you may not have come across. Her cooking also features
vegetables from our garden and fruit from our orchard.
Just to whet your appetite, here are some examples of what you might be served:
cream of cucumber soup, marcellines (St Marcellin cheese & ham in puff pastry case),
tomato crumble, veal with lemon & paprika, pork in cider, ravioli au gratin, homemade brioche,
almond biscuits, madeleines, to name but a few ….
So don’t miss your chance to try some !
N.B. table d’hôte meals are only served in the evening and need to be booked at least
24 hours in advance. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
